Courses in the different languages at the University

Under the patronage of Professor Doctor Alaa Zain, el-Abidin, the manger of exams and student assessment systems development and Doctor Motamed Mahmoud, the executive manger of the project, the courses of the different languages such as English,French,German and Turkish, which the project present, were activated and this in the ' project's laboratories of the university.

The scientific conference of the young researchers at Sohag University

Under the patronage of Professor Doctor the minister of high education, the general Wadah Hamzawy, the governor of Sohag and Professor Doctor Nabil Nour eldeen, acting the head of the university, the university organizes the scientific conference of the young researchers at Sohag University under the title "The scientific research and society's issues and the role of the scientific research in developing the society".

The conference will be on Wednesday and Thursday dated 25/4/2012 and 26/4/2012 in the great hall of conferences.

 

This conference contains many events such as a general and scientific lecture, which professors from the university will give it, and presenting researches from the professors, the assistants lecturers and the demonstrators.

These events under the presidency of Professor Doctor Lofty Hammed Abu el-Dahb, a vice president of the University for the Research and post graduate studies affairs, Professor Doctor Mustafa Wakad, a professor at faculty of science and Professor Doctor Talaat Mustafa, the deputy of faculty of agriculture for the Research and post graduate studies affairs, as a secretary general of the conference.

Meeting for the coordinators of the unities of exams and students assessment systems development project

 Under the patronage of Professor Doctor Essayed Motamed Mahmoud, the executive manger of the project of exams and students assessment development, a meeting for the coordinators of the unities of exams and students assessment systems development project, was held yesterday dated 20/2/2012.

As, Professor Doctor Mohamed Abd el-Samie, a professor at faculty of science and the manger of the project unity, Doctor Eman Mohamed, a vice president of the manger of the project at faculty of education, Doctor Tarek Hassan el-Sharony, a vice president of the manger of the project at faculty of agriculture, Doctor Bahaa eldeen Ali, a vice president of the manger of the project at faculty of veterinary medicine, Doctor Fatma Mohamed Osman, the manger of the project at faculty industrial education and Doctor Nadia Ali, the manger of the project at faculty of nursing , all of them attended the meeting.

A questionnaire during the meeting, was distributed, aims at knowing how far the faculty is committed to execute the items of the moral charter.

The first competition of creation in poetry, short story and literary criticism

Under the patronage of Professor Doctor Nabil Nour eldeen, a vice president of the university for student and education affairs and acting the head of the university and Doctor Haney Gaffr el-Sadek, the manger of youth care management, the youth care management announces establishing the first competition in poetry, short story and literary criticism and the dead line for receiving the works will be on next Sunday dated 26/2/2012.

The first conference of information technology and the second of development projects management unity at Beni-Suef University

Beni-Suef University organizes the first conference of information technology and the second of development projects management unity at Beni-Suef University and this for the staff members and the assisting authority , under the title "The role of information technology in developing the research and the educational process and in serving the society.

SIFE team at Sohag University got an honoring certificate

Under the patronage of Doctor Tarek Mohmed Ali, a lecturer at business administration department and the leadership of the student Islam Mustafa, SIFE team participated in the competition of the last year and got the certificates of participation and certificates for honoring Sohag University and its management, as this is the second year of the team's formation.

At this stage, the team makes the projects which they will be presented in the competition and which will be held next July.

The fourth universal conference around the leading roles of the woman in the world, at Zayed University in the United Arab Emirates

 Zayed University in the united Arab Emirates, announces its organization of the fourth universal conference around the leading roles of the woman in the world, and this under the title" The future of the permanent development in the world" and also it will be from 13 till 15 March in the United Arab Emirates.

A number of the universal woman leaderships, the student delegations and the female specialist researchers in the woman's issues.

Tiyba channel at Sohag University

Professor Doctor Ahmed el-Khateeb,  the executive manger of the passway project, hosted the Egyptian Tiyba channel in the premises of the training at the stadium building to cover the axes of the pathway course.

The meeting started with the aim of this course, the granting authority which is the ministry of higher education, the executing authority which is faculty of engineering at Cairo University in cooperation with Sohag University and the received certificates.

Tiyba channel also saw the events which occur in the training stadiums

Sohag University organizes the concluding ceremony of the passway

Professor Doctor Ahmed el-Khateeb, the executive manger of the pass way project, declared the end of the course of the pathway and that tomorrow dated 8/2/2012 will be the concluding ceremony at 12 noon, to honor the students by showing their projects and their artistic works either they are singing or presentation.
He also declared that the students will get an approved certificate from the management of the passway project and that their projects will be executed in cooperation with the solidarity fund, which will finance them.

Finishing the military education at Sohag University

The end of the military education will be next Thursday, this is according to what colonel Mamdouh Mohamed Ahmed, the supervisor of the military education at Sohag University, declared.

There will be also an exceptional course will be held, at the last year vacation, to give the opportunity to the graduates to finish the military education.

Sohag University gets some student projects through qualifying for approval and continuous development project

Sohag University got, through the project of qualifying for approval and continuous development, some projects such as editing the attitudes of the students of Sohag University towards activating working by mechanisms of quality approval and continuous development at the university.

Faculty of arts also got the second project which is change at our university.

As these projects are divided into three (large-medium-small) and the students participate through a model, presented for them, on the condition of being a part of the families and unions to be able to apply for participation in the project.

The grant of the pass ways of 2012 at Sohag University

  The university presents the grant of the pass way for raising the skills of the students and the graduates of the different universities, to help them to integrate rapidly in the society and polish their skills so as to suit with the needs of the scientific research and the labor market.

The pass way program presents many curricula such as administrative, behaviourail and cognitive and there is another program which is added this year which is works leading.

The grant started on Sunday dated 29/1/2012 and it will last till Wednesday dated 8/2/2012, for 1500 students.

A concluding ceremony will be held next Wednesday dated 8/2/2012 and Professor Doctor Nabil Nour eldeen Abd Allah, a vice president of the University for the students and the education affairs and acting the head the university, will attend the ceremony at the hall of the great meetings.

 

There is an artistic exhibition will be held for the different artistic and hand making works

Scholarships presented from the Mexican government for the foreigners

Through the special programs and the reserches, there will be presented scholarships in the frame of the announcement of 2012, and there is no certain number for the scholarships and the nomination for these scholarships will start from 17 January till 30 November 2012.

The scholarships will be in the fields of the mentioned knowledge of the announcement of 2012.

Sohag University hosts the manger of the graphic department of the ICTP project and the marketing teams of some universities

 Under the patronage of Professor Doctor Nabil Nour eldeen Abd Allah, vice president of the university for the students and the education affairs and acting the head of the university, professor Doctor Terek Alahmady el-Tobaily, the executive manger of information at the higher council of the universities and Professor Doctor Mahmoud Ali Abu el-Ezz, the executive manger of the information center at Sohag University, the marketing team hosted Engineer/Amr Mohamed Hassan,the manger of Graphic department of ICTP project and the general supervisor of the marketing team at the Egyptian Universities.

 

 

The approval and the quality assurance center holds training courses

Under the patronage of Professor Doctor Ahmed Mohamed Sleeman, the manger of the approval and the quality assurance center, the center holds training courses for preparing graduate revisers for learning before the university, as it holds three successive training courses, the first course under the title" the improvement plan and the self assessment" and this will be from 29/1/2012 till2/2/2012,the second course under the title the "curricula maps and the education

's results" and this will be from 5/2/2012 till 9/2/2012 and finally the third course under the title the" external revision "and this will be from 12/2/2012 till 16/2/2012.

Trustworthy persons, from the national authority of approval and education's quality, will give the lectures in order to train the staff members and also 26 teachers and instructors from the schools.

The courses will be held at the one of halls of the center of the staff members'ablities development, at the basement of the stadiums' building.

·        The project of plasma applications laboratory development and qualifying for the international approval at faculty of science.

·        The project of the central laboratory of the genetic engineering at faculty of science.

·        The project of measurements laboratory development and the influence of the environmental pollutants on the contents of the meuseums, the archeological areas and the libraries and qualifying them for the international approval at faculty of arts.

·        The project of raising the efficiency of the clinical poisons laboratory and qualifying it for the international approval at faculty of medicine

Sohag University's participation in the video conference for discussing Alfaroq system

A meeting between the higher council of universities and Sohag University, as it was one of six universities which are (Assuit-Eliminia-Bani Souf-Kafr El-Sheikh), was held and it is broadcast through the video conference and this was on Monday dated 30/1/2012 and many projects of Alfaroq systems were discussed.

This system concerns with extracting the salaries, the project of developing the administrative information systems and discussing the projects which hinder extracting the salaries.

 Professor Doctor Mahmoud Ali Abu el-EZ, the executive manger of the information center at the university and Professor Doctor Ahmed Aziz, the manger of MIS attended the meeting.

This was under the supervision of Madame/Sayda ELgaml, the coordinator of the technical support of the projects ICTP , Professor Doctor Ahmed Aziz Abd el-Minim, the manger of MIS and the specialist of  the technical support of Alfaroq Systems Miss Aza Abd el-Fatah Abd el-Hady.

Engineer Alaa Atef Sadk, the manger of the computers management, and Mr.Gamal Abd el-Raheem broadcasted the meeting on the video conference.

Starting the languages courses which are presented from the students and exams assessment systems development project

Under the patronage Doctor/MotamedvEsayed Mahmoud, the executive manger of students and exams assessment systems development project, the courses of Turkish, Hebrew, Farsi, Germany and the oriental languages which are presented from the students and exams assessment systems development project,

as the Farsi courses already started at the projects' laboratories in the central restaurant last yesterday dated 28/1/2012 and will last till Thursday dated 28/2/2012,whereas  other courses will start after the mid- year vacation.

These courses are presented for the participants from students, the researchers and the staff members.

 

The appreciative state prize in the field of the social sciences for 2012

The council of the post graduate studies and the researches, session number (56), approved on nomination of the faculty of arts of Professor Doctor Jalal eldeen Ahmed Amin-professor of economics in the American University in Cairo- for getting the appreciative state prize in the field of the social sciences for 2012.

The first competition in the photography

Under the patronage of Professor Doctor Nabil Nour eldeen Abd Allah, vice president of the University the Students and the education affairs and acting the head of the university, the public management of youth care organizes" The student families" for the first time in photography.

The image should be new and not taken from other resources or treated by the computer.

Applying Alfaruq system for managing the human resources of the benefits of the staff members

The council of the university approved, session number (61) dated 23/1/2012, on applying Alfaruq system for managing the human resources of the benefits of the staff members, their assistants and the workers at the level of the Egyptian Universities as follows:

1-Rearranging the salaries of the staff members, their assistants and some workers.

2-Exchanging the differences of the staff members, their assistants and some workers.

3-for the staff members, their assistants and the workers which their salaries will be decreased, what has been exchanged can be neglected according to the fatwa of the public association.

 Scholarships for conducting the PHD researches, presented from the Danish government

In the frame of the efforts of the sector of the missions and the cultural affairs for increasing the benefit of the scholarships which are presented for the state from different countries of the world in the fields which has a research priority for the state, the sector has the honor to declare the scholarships which the Danish government presents (for conducting the PhD researches or for collecting the scientific material of the PhD) in the academic year 2012/2013, the general management of the missions will execute the nomination procedures of this scholarship, noting that:
